About NJROTC

Here at South Point High School, our NJROTC unit has a lot to offer. The NJROTC class offers a lot of useful life skills, trips, learning opportunities, and teams. The life skills that you or your child would gain from this class include public speaking, physical fitness, working with others, attention to detail, discipline, citizenship, and leadership skills. The trips our unit have been on consists of, Virginia, Washington DC, New York City, Florida, Parris Island, Quantico, Fort Jackson, Myrtle Beach, Busch Gardens, and many more. NJROTC goes on a lot of educational trips such as, UNCC, SCU, Coastal Carolina, Naval Academy, and more. The selection of teams that our unit has includes academics, color guard, community service, drill, drone, marksmanship, physical fitness, orienteering, and sea perch.
